Meet your physiotherapist

Meet your physiotherapist

Hi, I'm Mel

I'm Melissa Reynolds, an experienced sports physiotherapist with seven years of clinical practice, including three years working in the NHS. Based in Marylebone, London W1G, I specialise in musculoskeletal injuries, sports-related conditions, rheumatological issues and post-operative rehabilitation. I have particular expertise in lower back and lower limb injuries, and I take a holistic, evidence-based approach to sports physiotherapy treatment.

My management style combines manual therapy, strength and conditioning, mobility programs, and, where appropriate, adjunct techniques such as dry needling, taping, and neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES).

I hold a Master of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy degree (2024) and a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy with distinction (2018), both from the University of Cape Town. My most recent research was presented at the World Physiotherapy Congress in Tokyo 2025 and the European College of Sport Sciences Congress in Italy 2025.

Outside the clinic, I enjoy staying active through running, field hockey, swimming, netball, strength training and tennis—all of which give me valuable insight into treating sports-related injuries from both a clinical and personal perspective. I completed my first marathon in 2023 and recently competed in Hyrox London 24/25, giving me firsthand experience with the injuries I treat.
